Fragrant Croissant base, made with 100% Sourdough, and filled with a wonderful homemade apple compote, and a layer of silky salted caramel... This pastry will warm you up and hug you at the same time!
The croissant is slowly proven 3 times in the space of 48 hours, making it extra soft (and making it last fresh for 2-3 days instead of the only 1 that classic croissants usually do, we've tested it!).
We make the caramelised apple compote with vanilla extract and a squeeze of lemon juice, to counteract the sweetness of the croissant dough, and the salted caramel is made slowly, to blend all the ingredients together until you get it silky and glossy!
Available this weekend as a Special (20th and 21st of January), for delivery in the postcodes we serve in SW London. Depending on how sales and feedbacks go, we are considering adding it to our range of Viennoiseries! LET US KNOW YOUR THOUGHTS ❤️
Croissant dough: Organic flour, butter, sugar, water, milk, sea salt, honey, cocoa butter, vanilla extract.
Apple compote: apples, sugar, lemon juice, vanilla extract.
Salted caramel: sugar, double cream, butter, vanilla extract, sea salt.
Glaze: egg, milk.
